Package design for the small, family-owned food brand Long's Horseradish. The heavy, masculine bottles and jars are made to reflect the high quality of the gourmet products they contain. In this project we updated Long's brand strategy and repositioned them into a brand mainly targeted on men interested in food. Inspiration is taken from whiskey brands and cigarr packages to create associations with high quality products that you feel proud to put on the table.
We also highlighted the fact that all the products are fresh and made by hand. This was achieved by making the
Long's staff write the "best-before-date" by hand, adding their signature as a guarantee of quality and personal dedication.
